We need a better school. And I believe that if 100 good people set their minds to the task of creating one, then there's nothing that could stop us.
I hope to collect 100 Good People: educators, fund raisers, administrators, architects, artists, students, parents, employers, and politicians. I hope that these 100 good people -- smart, experienced, worldly, innovative, caring, connected, people of action -- will be committed to creating a school that will re-invision what school is for and how school can best deliver an education of value to teens in order to create the kinds of adults we all want to have running our world and to help those teens to be the greatest "them" that they can possibly be.
Throw out what you think school is. Break it down. Then build it again. Differently. You know you want to.
